A Mission of Healing, Sisterhood & Self-Care I founded Sounds of Phenomenal Women after spending 18 years at Yale University, where I witnessed too many women pushing themselves to the limit—overworked, sleep-deprived, and neglecting their own well-being. I saw them struggling to juggle careers, families, and responsibilities, while their own health silently suffered. I was one of them. Thirty percent of the women I worked with were sick, and I, too, was on that same path. Even after starting my own business, Cleaning from the Heart, I continued to see the same cycle—women barely making it through the door, exhausted and unwell. Then, a year and a half ago, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. That moment changed everything. It deepened my passion for self-care advocacy and reinforced something I now know without a doubt—we cannot pour from an empty cup. We must take care of ourselves. We must prioritize our health. And most importantly, as women, we must learn to trust, love, and uplift one another again. Self-Care Saves Lives.
